Olympia Development of Michigan and The District Detroit have signed a lease with Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) for a full-service branch at 2715 Woodward Avenue. Scheduled to open in early 2026, the branch brings greater access to personalized banking services in one of the city’s most dynamic and rapidly growing neighborhoods.

The branch will be located next to Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business and just one block north of Little Caesars Arena. LMCU will join Boston Consulting Group and Warner Norcross + Judd as tenants in the building.

“2715 Woodward is a thoughtfully designed building that blends modern materials and reflects the spirit of progress that defines The District Detroit,” said Keith Bradford, President of Olympia Development and The District Detroit. “LMCU’s new branch will serve not only as a trusted financial resource, but also as a true community hub—deepening engagement and expanding opportunities for residents and businesses. As The District Detroit continues to grow, partners like LMCU are essential in ensuring our progress is economically inclusive and creates opportunity.”

Olympia Development completed and welcomed its first tenant to 2715 Woodward in the spring of 2021. This new, state-of-the-art office building features a contemporary exterior of brick, steel, and glass, beautifully framing the interior lobby space, which showcases a custom mosaic art installation inspired by the historic Woodward Plan.
