Multiple viewing options available as Red Wings Centennial begins
The Detroit Red Wings and FanDuel Sports Network today announced the team’s 2025-26 local television schedule, broadcast talent, and expanded viewing options for fans.
FanDuel Sports Network, the local home for Red Wings hockey, is set to televise and stream all games of the 2025-26 regular season, as well as live pre- and postgame shows, unless games are selected for exclusive national broadcast.
Fans have much to be excited about on the ice and with the Red Wings Centennial beginning this season, both of which will be front and center on Opening Night – Thursday, October 9 at 7 p.m. ET when Detroit plays host to the Montreal Canadiens at Little Caesars Arena. FanDuel Sports Network will cover the festivities with a special hour-long Red Wings Live pregame show.

Red Wings Live pregame show will air 30 minutes prior to every regular season game providing commentary, features, and in-depth pregame coverage. Immediately following the final horn of each game, the postgame edition of Red Wings Live will feature highlights, player interviews and analysis.
Starting Oct. 27, the all-new “FanDuel Sports Network Live Countdown” will air weekdays one hour prior to the start of Red Wings Live. Hosted by Stan Verrett, the show will tap into the network’s regional talent lineup to give fans an inside look at each nightly matchup, combining on-site reporting and analysis, look-ins to warmups, breaking news and more.
Broadcast Team
Widely regarded as one of the NHL’s premier broadcast duos, Ken Daniels returns as the play-by-play voice of the Red Wings on FanDuel Sports Network, joined by legendary analyst Mickey Redmond. It’s the duo’s 29th season together calling Red Wings games, making them the perfect voices to be the primary narrators of this special season that’s been 100 years in the making.
Daniella Bruce, Logan Reever and Trevor Thompson will contribute throughout the season as rink-side reporters and hosts of “Red Wings Live” alongside analysts Chris Osgood and Larry Murphy.
As a new contributor to FanDuel Sports Network this season, Mike Kelly, the director of analytics and insights for Sportlogiq, will give fans an even deeper understanding of what’s happening on the ice.
“As the Red Wings celebrate 100 years of Hockeytown, we're proud to deliver coverage worthy of the moment,” said Jay Rothman, FanDuel Sports Network’s Vice President of Production overseeing live NHL coverage. “With cutting-edge production and a powerhouse broadcast team— featuring the iconic duo of Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond— this season promises to be a tribute to tradition, talent, and the enduring spirit of Hockeytown.”
